True Measure / Studio note
Before the first website conversation
What to bring when you ask about a new site or a fix.
You do not need a finished design brief to start a conversation. A useful starting point is the work you do, the people the website is for and what those people need to do there.
For an existing website, share the address and describe the problem in your own words. A screenshot or a report can add context, but it is also useful to say what you expected and what happened instead.
For a new website, bring any words and pictures you already have. Identify examples that help explain your preferences, and describe what you like about them. The aim is to make something that fits your work.
We discuss the work and agree the price before starting. Tell us what you need by email, and include the questions you are still working through.
