A clearer website brief

Use these prompts before discussing a new website or a change to the one you have. Bring what you know; unanswered questions can stay unanswered.

1. Describe who the website is for and the task you want to help them complete.
2. List the words, pictures and examples you already have, along with the people who need to approve the work.
3. Name the next decision you need help making. If you have an existing site, include its address and explain what you want to change.
